After the release of Coyote Gunfight in August of 2017, every writing attempt I made resulted in sounding like a Coyote Gunfight B-side. This discouraged me immensely until I ultimately sat down in November to create something new. To explore and develop my musical abilities. Over the course of a 10 hour guitar recording session, I was able to experiment with new tones and styles.

Six months later, those same recordings have been cut, altered, and processed into an album I'm incredibly proud of, though it was never intended to see the light of day. The original intention was to create a four song EP that would create an atmosphere that accommodates the progress of change. However, a musical piece should have a chance to thrive.

This creation has become an ode to evolution to both my playing style and life. Stagnation is a malevolent beast and the delve into the thought process as to how we as a species develop and evolve is a complex venture. That being said, being fearful and refusing to push beyond boundaries is possibly the greatest tragedy anyone can face.

Continue to move forward ans realize that your own personal evolution is a cycle and that beginning and end are relative.
